7+ Essential Insights into the Future of Connectivity at WTSCA Conference 2025

The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA) is the supreme decision-making body of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the United Nations specialized agency that coordinates global telecommunications. The WTSA is held every four years and brings together representatives from governments, industry, academia, and civil society to set the strategic direction for the ITU and its work program.

The WTSA-25, which will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), from 15-29 November 2025, is expected to be a landmark event. It will be the first WTSA to be held in the Middle East and will focus on the theme of “Empowering Digital Transformation.” The WTSA-25 will address a wide range of issues, including the future of 5G, the development of new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), and the role of telecommunications in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
