Black Ski Weekend 2025 is an annual event that celebrates the African American community’s participation in winter sports, particularly skiing and snowboarding. The event was founded in 2008 by the National Brotherhood of Skiers (NBS) and has since grown to become one of the largest gatherings of Black skiers and snowboarders in the world. Black Ski Weekend 2025 will be held from January 17th to 23rd at Keystone Resort in Keystone, Colorado.
The event offers a variety of activities for participants of all ages and skill levels, including group ski and snowboard lessons, races, and competitions, as well as social events like parties and receptions. Black Ski Weekend 2025 is also an opportunity for participants to network with other Black skiers and snowboarders and to learn about the history of Black participation in winter sports. The event has been praised for its positive impact on the Black community, and for helping to break down barriers to participation in winter sports.
