Mercyme is a contemporary Christian music band formed in 1994. Based in Greenville, Texas, the band is composed of Bart Millard (lead vocals), James Bryson (background vocals, guitar), Mike Scheuchzer (background vocals, bass), Nathan Cochran (drums), and Robby Shaffer (guitar). The band has released nine studio albums, three live albums, and four compilation albums. They have also charted 27 singles on the Billboard Christian Songs chart, including 16 number-one hits.
Mercyme’s tenth studio album, Always Only Jesus, was released on October 22, 2021. The album’s lead single, “Say I Won’t”, was released on August 20, 2021. The band embarked on a tour in support of the album in 2022. The tour visited over 40 cities in the United States and Canada.
