World Thinking Day is an international observance celebrated annually by Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the world. It is celebrated on February 22nd, the birthday of Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of the Scouting and Guiding movements. The first World Thinking Day was celebrated in 1926, and it has been observed every year since then.
The purpose of World Thinking Day is to provide an opportunity for Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from all over the world to connect with each other and to learn about each other’s cultures. It is also a day to reflect on the importance of the Scouting and Guiding movement and to recommit to its ideals.
