The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in India contested during April and May of every year by eight teams representing eight different cities in India. The league was founded by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2008. The IPL has an auction system, where each team bids for players to form their squad.
Sarfaraz Khan is an Indian cricketer who plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket and Delhi Capitals in the IPL. He is a right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm off-break bowler. In the 2023 IPL auction, Sarfaraz Khan was bought by the Delhi Capitals for 2.25 crore.
