Project 2025 Disabled is an initiative launched in 2019 by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). Its primary goal is to ensure that people with disabilities have equitable access to information and communication technologies (ICTs) by 2025.
According to the World Health Organization, over 1 billion people worldwide live with some form of disability. This number is expected to increase in the coming years due to aging populations and the rise of chronic diseases.
