The Isuzu Trooper is a mid-size SUV that was first introduced in 1981. The Trooper was discontinued in 2002, but Isuzu has announced that it will be bringing the Trooper back for the 2025 model year.
The 2025 Isuzu Trooper will be a completely redesigned vehicle. It will be based on the same platform as the current Isuzu D-Max pickup truck. The Trooper will be offered in both two-door and four-door configurations. It will be powered by a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel engine that produces 190 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. The Trooper will be available with either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission.
