The Huskers 2025 football schedule has not yet been released, but the team is expected to play a challenging slate of games. The Huskers will open the season at home against the Akron Zips on August 30th, and will then travel to Ireland to face the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic on September 6th. The Huskers will then return home to face the Northern Illinois Huskies on September 13th, and will then travel to face the Oklahoma Sooners on September 20th. The Huskers will then have a bye week on September 27th, before returning to action on October 4th to face the Purdue Boilermakers. The Huskers will then travel to face the Wisconsin Badgers on October 11th, and will then return home to face the Rutgers Scarlet Knights on October 18th. The Huskers will then travel to face the Minnesota Golden Gophers on October 25th, and will then return home to face the Penn State Nittany Lions on November 1st. The Huskers will then travel to face the Iowa Hawkeyes on November 8th, and will then return home to face the Michigan Wolverines on November 15th. The Huskers will then close out the regular season on November 22nd when they travel to face the Maryland Terrapins.
The Huskers are expected to be a competitive team in 2025, and the schedule will provide them with a number of opportunities to prove themselves. The Huskers will need to play well in order to make a bowl game, and they will need to play even better in order to win the Big Ten West Division. The Huskers have a lot of talent on their roster, and they will be looking to make a statement in 2025.
