The Hungarian Grand Prix (Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix, Magyar Nagydj) is a Formula One motor racing event held at the Hungaroring, a 4.381 km (2.722 mi) circuit outside Mogyord, Pest County, Hungary, approximately 20 km (12 mi) north-east of Budapest. The first Hungarian Grand Prix was held in 1936, and joined the Formula One World Championship in 1986.
