The Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens football schedule for 2025 has yet to be released. However, the team is expected to play a 12-game regular season schedule, with six home games and six away games. The Blue Hens will open the season at home against the Villanova Wildcats on September 6th, 2025. They will then travel to face the Navy Midshipmen on September 13th, 2025. Delaware will have a bye week on September 20th, 2025, before returning to action at home against the Rhode Island Rams on September 27th, 2025. The Blue Hens will then travel to face the Maine Black Bears on October 4th, 2025, and the Albany Great Danes on October 11th, 2025. Delaware will have another bye week on October 18th, 2025, before returning to action at home against the New Hampshire Wildcats on October 25th, 2025. The Blue Hens will then travel to face the Elon Phoenix on November 1st, 2025, and the Towson Tigers on November 8th, 2025. Delaware will close out the regular season at home against the William & Mary Tribe on November 15th, 2025.
The Blue Hens are coming off a successful 2022 season, in which they finished with a record of 9-3 and won the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) championship. Delaware is expected to be a contender for the CAA championship again in 2025. The Blue Hens have a number of talented players returning, including quarterback Nolan Henderson and running back Kyion Grayes. Delaware also has a strong recruiting class coming in for 2025.
