Rutgers basketball’s 2025 schedule has been released, and it features a challenging slate of opponents. The Scarlet Knights will open the season with a home game against Monmouth on November 14th, before traveling to face Seton Hall on November 19th. Rutgers will also play non-conference games against Syracuse, Temple, and UMass. In Big Ten play, the Scarlet Knights will face a tough schedule that includes games against Michigan, Purdue, and Ohio State. Rutgers will look to improve on its 13-19 record from last season and make a run at the NCAA Tournament.
The 2025 schedule is a challenging one, but it is also an opportunity for Rutgers to prove itself as a contender in the Big Ten. The Scarlet Knights have a talented roster led by junior guard Caleb McConnell and sophomore forward Cliff Omoruyi. If Rutgers can stay healthy and play to its potential, it has the chance to make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.
