Barbados Carnival, also known as Crop Over Festival, is an annual festival held in Barbados to celebrate the end of the sugar cane harvest. The 2025 festival is expected to take place from July 24th to August 7th.
The festival is a vibrant and colorful celebration of Barbadian culture, featuring music, dance, and food. The festival has its roots in the 18th century, when enslaved Africans were allowed to celebrate their culture during the Crop Over festival. Today, the festival is a national holiday and one of the most popular tourist attractions in Barbados.
