The Conference of State Medicaid Directors (CSMD) 2025 Advancing the Practice of Transformation through Alignment (APTA) initiative is a national effort to improve the quality and efficiency of Medicaid managed care. The initiative is a collaboration between CSMD and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI).
